This is an interesting well-illustrated children's book highlighting a boy's mystical bird ride unveils the secret to finding magic in everyday life. The book is temporarily discounted on Amazon Kindle and has a well-written OnlineBookClub review. Congrats on the BOTD selection.

Wonderful! That's a detailed review and it's interesting how a children's book has the theme of spiritual enlightenment.
Nice story there!

This seems like a unique children's book. Not a fan of the name Kid Rock, because it reminds me of that famous singer. Great and informative review. Good job.

The book sounds interesting. I'm sure that children will enjoy reading this kind of book. Thanks for providing this insightful review. I really enjoyed reading it. However, since I'm don't read children's books, I'll recommend it to my siblings.

While my kids are out of the suggested age range, I still feel the lessons can be valuable to them. Fear, failure, competition, it follows our kids throughout their school years and far beyond. A book is a beautiful way to touch upon those topics.

This looks like a good story for young people, between 5 and 8 years old. The story about a young boy and a bird going taking a magical flight through the skies has a positive message and I expect will spark the imagination of some young readers. It sounds both delightful and inspirational, something that would be good for parents and teachers to read also. I like the addition of discussion questions. Thanks for the great review on this book.

I love that this book encourages children to be self-conscious and observant. Not many children can be observant.

A nice review. I will read this soon. Thank you for this detailed review.

I like the idea of carrying a memento that will remind you to practice gratitude every day. This is a good habit that can be instilled in children. Thanks for your review.

I think this book would be most appropriate for children between the ages of five and eight, especially those who have caretakers or parents with transcendentalist tendencies. Having an adult reader present would really help younger readers solidify some of the deeper meanings of the material. This title does have a lesson of self-actualization at its core. The main character’s nickname is “Kid Rock,” and I do believe that young minds would be able to appreciate the fanciful mysticism of such a high-flying tale! It reminded me of the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids movie franchise that I loved so much as a child.
I loved that franchise too! Although I don't have kids, I think if I had them I would like them to have the tools to counteract a culture full of constant stimuli and that praises rush and uncontrolled ambition, and teaching them mindfulness and gratitude seems like the right way to do that.
This is one of the best-written reviews I've read. Congratulations.

This book reminded me of another flying little boy, Nils Holgersson. However, as I read further, I discovered that this book has a completely different meaning and goal than my childhood favorite had. Helping children with their emotional development is an important issue, and this book seems to be doing a good job. I was delighted to find out that this book even has a section with helpful questions.

Thank you for the enjoyable review!

Wade seems to have a lot of fun. Flying in the air on the back of a bird is definitely something everyone will love to enjoy. Great review.
