Being faced with a new norm of doing things could be very challenging, boring, and uninteresting, especially when there is no support system to help new users navigate through. The book Chase Found Grit narrates how a boy who is faced with the reality of learning virtually at home as a result of the closure of schools had challenges with learning via this new platform. More so, Chase missed the first day at school, wearing all new clothes and backpacks and going to the gym and pool. Will Chase get used to this new norm of learning without a support system? The answer to this question is in the book Chase Found Grit by Jeanne Evelyn.

The 28-page book is an interesting book that teaches children about perseverance and courage. Most especially, the book emphasized the importance of a support system in every environment and how it can help children achieve those goals that seemingly look very difficult and impossible to achieve.

I like how the pictures at the end of each plot give a detail of the storyline. Furthermore, the author adopted different colors for each of the pages in the book; it made the book colorful and attractive to read. The fact that the names of the characters mentioned in the book are names of teachers who have been giving support to students having challenges coping with virtual learning at home gave life to the book.

There is absolutely nothing I dislike about the book and would rate it 4 out of 4 stars for being exceptionally edited, coupled with the fact the author carefully taught the moral lessons of perseverance, courage, and the belief in oneself in times of challenges.

Because virtual learning is a contemporary way of learning across the world in recent times. I would recommend this book to pupils between the ages of 5-10 years.

It is important for parents and teachers to discuss these matters of online learning since this has been such a challenge during the lockdowns. Hopefully, kids can learn a lot from Chase's story.

Thank you for sharing your opinions of this book.

The book is relevant especially right now, we need to be technology literated. Virtual learning is what surrounds us right now. I'll definitely read this one.

This book seems like it could have been inspired by the emergence of COVID-19 and it's learning. I would also like to find out how Chase adapted to virtual learning as it's something I find difficult. Amazing review!
