While I may not be particularly interested in reading about San Francisco or American values, I applaud the author for taking on a book of this nature. I'm sure there is a lot to learn.

Although I think it is well-suited for those living in the San Francisco region and surrounds, I don't think that this read is particularly relevant to anyone outside the region. Regardless, anyone studying economic growth and demographic relationships may find this book intriguing. Thank you so much for the insightful review! Happy reading :techie-studyinggray:

It seems quite entertaining if you like history. And I think that reading about values which are going through a crisis nowadays, is not a bad idea. I think se need It as a society. Thanks for such a great review!

A book that highlights the America's values, "particularly those that have shaped the San Francisco Bay Area" is definitely a great read. I like it that the book is very descriptive and specific, in terms of elaborate examples, facts, figures, and percentages. Not my type of genre, though. Otherwise, congrats on the BOTD.
