This reminds me of "Gorilla In The Mist." It is admirable to see people spend their lives protecting the environment. From the sound of your review, that is a daunting task. Thanks for your review.

This non-fiction book seems to be an interesting biography for those readers who want to learn more about people who protect animals and plants in Australia. I don't think this is for me, but congrats on BOTD! Thanks for the review!

An inspirational biography "A Vanishing Kind" by John Wamsley and Stephen L Davey, which tells us about the struggles that were faced to establish the Earth Sanctuaries Limited Company in Australia. The nice thing is the information on the wildlife conservation techniques, which is given in this book.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

Interesting, adventurous and educational, excellent combination, but unfortunately totally not my type of reading material. This book would have fascinated me if author written if in fictional format, similar to Jack London. Sadly, non-fiction autobiography I will have to pass. Still congratulations on BOTD!

I look forward to reading about conservation efforts in Australia. I'm sure we can apply some of the lessons in our own experiences with conservation efforts.

Australia is a fascinating place and one I have always wanted to visit. I have seen Kangaroos in the wild, just no in Australia. I found the touches of humor really helped the story. The pictures also add a nice touch to the story.

John has led a fascinating life! His struggle with bullying and the method he used to overcome smoking inspire readers to stand up for themselves. The photos enrich the NSW setting and are especially helpful since many of us have never traveled to this part of the world. I enjoyed your wonderful review of this book. Thanks!

Wildlife conversation is such an important topic considering the role of animals and plants in our ecosystem. I'm glad the author bared his experience in the subject in a candid manner.
