I'm thinking of a tiger, black panther, or a cobra. @DATo

Is it SALT ?

Though I can't see how salt would apply to the other clues :eusa-think:
Yes, it's salt!
Salary comes from the word for salt because it was so valuable that people used it as currency.
And I meant salt lamps with the other clue. They're apparently a thing for relaxing.

Oh, I just love your etymology learnings, @Lunastella. I'll tell everyone did you know that salary 🤭

@Nerea @Lunastella @InStoree @Gravy

NEW RIDDLE !!!

I am a deadly predator, but I do not hunt humans.
I am usually either very hairy or completely bald.
Evidence of my presence is often seen in horror movies.
My body can produce a very mechanically strong substance.
I can be found throughout the world but I thrive in the tropics.

What am I ?
Bees??
