I love historical fiction, and flying fascinates me! Rawley sounds like an awesome protagonist. I will have to read this one when I have a chance! Thanks for the great review! :D

I love historical fiction, especially when it features women who are ahead of their time. This one looks like a winner. Thanks for a great review!

Wow - this does sound like a really exciting story. I loved that you included the definition of "fly girl" from Urban Dictionary. As soon as I read the title of this book, Queen Latifah's song came to my mind :) Great review!

I am not sure if the author's pun was intentional, but I hope so. Thanks for your comment.

In a world where masculinity dominates, a flower blooms and rises among the ranks to raise the flag of feminism. Picked up my interest on the book because of this review and the fact that one of the story's settings is in the Philippines.
Happy reading,
Gelli xoxo

Although I am not into reading historical accounts, this review seems promising as the book has other different elements to make it an interesting read.
