Question about the vocabulary of the narrator of a story

Some grammar rules (and embarrassing mistakes!) transcend the uniqueness of different regions and style guides. Icon Question about the vocabulary of the narrator of a story

Hey guys, I have a question of grammar, I was wondering, when writing about the perspective of a child for example, who has a different vocabulary from an adult, is it possible to commit certain grammatical mistakes purposefully in order to make the narrator look more realistic?
