Getting an error message when I try to upload an avatar... Help!

Getting an error message when I try to upload an avatar... Help!

I've tried multiple times to put a picture up for my avatar... I cannot seem to make it work. I go to the UCP... select "upload avatar" from the drop down... choose my file (it is well below the required maximums that are set)... click "upload" and then this error comes up...

General Error
Illegal use of $_SERVER. You must use the request class to access input data. Found in /home/scotthug/public_html/forums/includes/functions_posting.php on line 653. This error message was generated by deactivated_super_global.

What am I doing wrong????

It's likely because of your status as a new member (which is due to your relative inactivity).

Once you've moved from being a 'new' member to being a regular member you should be able to set an avatar.

If once you're counted as a regular member, you're still unable to set one (in which case it will be due to a glitch), let us know. :tiphat:
