The book is not your everyday war book - pretty genius of the author. An intriguing historical fiction. 4 out of 4 stars for me.

I don't usually like war books, but it sounds like this one might be worth reading!

I haven't finished "Skills of the Warramunga" yet, I'm almost halfway, but so far I like it. I've read the first book in the instalment, "The Warramunga's War" and I loved it. I am glad that the author continues to explore and show the beautiful friendship between Jamie and Jacko. Also, if in the first book I found out plenty about the situation in Egypt during the WW2 and Australia's involvement, in the second book there's information about the war's aftermath in Malaysia. I would recommend "Skills of the Warramunga" to anyone who loves history, humour, adventure and mystery. I will rate it 4 out of 4 stars.

Lmao. Now that you’ve pointed it out, it kinda feel like it does but the author is known for his characters and the historical plot so I guess he focused more in bringing these aspects out.

Worth the sample, worth the read, worth my time. This book is overall informative yet enjoyable. Later is such a good story weaver. 4/4!!!

This is a book like no other. Greg starts the episode with a suspenseful presentation. Johnny Cook is seen staggering and sweating profusely. I mean, who wouldn’t want to know what makes this character go through this? This is a mind and attention arrestor.

The theme of the cover page depicts the whole essence of a jungle. A Malayan jungle is predominant and therefore brings the theme into active play. Meaning, Greg has done a well thought of cover presentation.

I found this book to be exciting and intriguing from beginning to end. What I liked most was how Johnny coped with life in the jungle after he was kidnapped. I love historical fiction novels and this one did not disappoint me! I would rate it 4 out of 4 stars.
