I enjoyed the review as much as I did the book sample that I read.
I like the vivid presentation of the plot and characters, and I agree with the opinions expressed. I, too, read the sample chapters right away and I am sure it will be the same with the rest of the book. I am a bit reluctant about the graphic part and hope there will be a happy ending. And I also keep my fingers crossed for Kalin Taylor.

I absolutely love the description of how it felt when reading this book.

it's one of those books that you read with morbid fascination. You almost want to cover your eyes because you don't know if you can stand it. Something, though, pulls you back to the pages. You keep reading, though it's almost with one eye shut.

The idea of mass cloning to generate free labor through slavery along with the abuse and violation of human rights is a book that has a potential to be our future is intriguing. I look forward to reading it. Awesome review!

I don't usually care for sci-fi but your review piqued my interest, and the sample I read left me wanting to read more, yet not sure if I could! I would have liked to read a novel belonging to the genre of genetic engineering sci-fi, but I was put off by the use of profanities and the graphic scenes of violence. Too bad for the alert rhythm of the story and the quick exchanges between the characters! Thanks for your review, though.

I just find myself running from anything about clones. Just the thought of it bothers me so much. It’s too real, and like you said here, it’s happening already. This “fiction” scares the tar out of me worse than horror type content, so far now, I’m passing on this. And of course, in the opening pages of this, two have escaped! Nope! Thanks for the deeper insight on this one.

It's a story I thought about long after I finished reading; honestly, it's one of those books that you read with morbid fascination. I rarely enjoy sci-fi, but I like thought-provoking books and the issues you mention are important to ponder and, unfortunately, still current problems.
I also applaud that there's good character development, I find it's an often overlooked feature in sci-fi books.
