This is a very nice interview. I am very happy to learn that Dr. Douglas will continue to participate in speaking engagements and possibly write a follow-up book. Dr. Douglas has mentioned his desire to give back to the community through student mentoring a couple of times in his book; I am excited to know that he plans to continue mentoring in the future. Thank you.

That's interesting interview of Dr. Frank L. Douglas author of Defining Moments of a Free Man from a Black Stream. His inspiration from his mother is interesting. I really believe that mother's lap is first Institution for any person and impact always imprints on ones heart and that's the only thing to made him determined, eventually a successful person.

I read a review on this book and I was shocked to read that there is discrimination in professional spaces with educated people. I would definitely read this book.

This is a great interview. I'm looking forward on reading his book. Racial discrimination and medical industry are topics that are quite sensitive to discuss.

I admire people who are able to pull themselves from a dark place (like suicide) and turn in into something that can help them benefit mankind. Well done interview on an inspiring author!

So interesting! I love how racism is well focused on, I think if racists read this book they might change, "the white will embrace the black"

His response on cancer really soothed me but i'll be honest if we have a cure for all cancer in the next 50 years there'll probably be something else that'll come around that needs curing. On a more pleasant note he seems like a decent guy who knows what he's talking about. Maybe i'll give his book a go.
