I love to travel so I think I would enjoy reading about the other countries you mentioned above. I feel for immigrants who try to make it to the United States especially when they are leaving a bad home situation. I hope it has a good ending. It sounds like the errors and the time-jumps would not be hard to fix. Great review, as always!

I come from the Philippines and know many of my people take the same risks for the American dream. We call them TNT for "tago ng tago" (literally "always hiding" in Filipino). I can relate to Monzy. I hope to read his story.

At times the circumstances we go through can make us do unexpected things just to fulfill our desires. Monzy, a young Jordanian man had a dream of immigrating to the United States but after failing to obtain a visa, he decided to immigrate illegally. What a story! Nice review!

Oh, sad to hear that a good book couldn't achieve the desired rating. I think the author would have given a good account of illegal immigration as he himself went through it.
