I read the sample pages, and the book Down the Monster Hole sounds
like an excellent story. The colorful pictures are memorable and enhance the drama of the fable. A children's book that can hold the attention of readers for over 150 pages sounds remarkable. Excellent review. Congratulations on Book of the Day.

Hmmm...I know exactly how Tom feels. It is maddening to be jolted awake from a wonderful dream and then forget what it was about!! The characters he meets on his journey sound charming. I'll have to pick this one up! Great review!

A children’s fantasy tale following a child's journey through the secret kingdom of monsters sounds magical. Fun illustrations, magical imagery, and positive messages make for a good read. A pity about the punctuation mistakes and inconsistent poetry. Hopefully, those errors were fixed by now. I am not the target audience, but I am glad you enjoyed the book. Thank you for the review!

I love it when a children's book combines meaningful messages with a fun-to-read story. I also enjoyed the imagery used by the author in the sample I read. However, I found some inconsistencies in terms of formatting. I think these should be rectified to improve the flow of reading. Nevertheless, it is not very much distracting. Kudos to the author for the amazing storyline. Thank you for your insightful review.

I read this one! Tom's adventures in the secret kingdom of monsters was definitely interesting. Fingers crossed that Tom survives the Temple of Puzzles and Puzzlement (even though I know )! I'm glad that you were engaged with the author's imagery, positive messages, and narrative. Also, it's nice to know that you enjoyed different types of illustrations (hand-drawn and graphic/geometric ones). Too bad about the poetic sections and the writing itself wasn't well-edited. Good to know that these didn't distract from your enjoyment of the book, though! Thank you for sharing!

This sounds like an imaginative and interesting story. I enjoy books of most genres and this one fits that perfectly. Also, I have a young daughter and I think that she would enjoy reading about Tom's story. I can't wait to read more about the adventures that Tom embarks on in this story.

This sounds like an excellent children's book and one that even older kids, teens and even adults could enjoy. I hate to hear it had some small grammar errors, but also glad to see they are minor ones. I'll have to check this book out more!

This book sounds like a great read for older children. The positive notes and illustrations will make younger children interested as well. It's nice that the author uses such positive imagery as well.
