Brendan Behan, though I suspect it would involve more than just one beer! :D

I would love to have a soft drink with Haruki Murakami, I would ask him if he thinks that cats can understand our thoughts!

So many, Eckhert Tolle, Gary Zukav, Penny Pierce...Spiritual growth is the #1 reason we are here,u want to b happy and successful, try being present in your life,it will change your attitude, look around, smell flowers, sit by a river,b there. God has made such beauty everywhere to draw our attention, away from our "Petty" selfish self centered selves,we can have so much more,we cut ourselves short..Pay attention,B present, signs are everywhere leading you to what you were born for.if your present your intuition receives a better image of your map,try it. So much more. Didn't mean to carry on, I've seen to much to deny it. Look forward to learning more, sometimes i feel like Indiana Jones! Life is such an adventure...Peace

I think I'd love to have a beer with Chimamanda, Murakami and Rowling. It would certainly be an interesting affair :D

Dylan Thomas -- because there is no way, no way at all, that the event would be limited to a beer. "A beer" with Thomas would be a binge of several weeks duration.

This is the hardest "Would you Rather" ever!

No, but seriously, I would love to have a beer with Stephen King just to hear his take on everything that's been happening in the past decade. I don't even drink, but I feel that the communion with him over a couple of cans of beer wouldn't hurt me much if I were able to communicate and learn from a writer I aspire to imitate in terms of creativity and productivity during the rough patches in his life. :D

She may not be very well known but Toby Neal would be interesting to sit down with. She writes wonderful suspense and mysteries and lives in Hawaii. She was raised by Hippie parents and that's just plain interesting.

J.K. Rowling for sure. She is smart and witty and probably fun. On top of that, I adore her writing. Shakespeare would probably be a fun person to have a beer with too. I bet he knows how to party!

Hemingway or Fitzgerald if I want to talk about writing. Maybe David Mitchell or George RR Martin just for a casual chat about life.
