M Zee wrote: 03 Nov 2018, 10:24 I will be honest, the weird grammatical "But's" in the title was originally off-putting to me. I am still not sure if it's meant to be intentional or some reference to the book (as I have yet to read it, I don't know?). But to someone browsing titles, I am not really sure it would appeal.
I'm pretty sure it's a reference to people saying "I'd do this, but..." Regardless, my brain always becomes a little bit agitated when I see something I know is grammatically incorrect. My mouth and my fingers aren't grammar nazis but my brain is a jerk.

The title does grab your attention, albeit being quite a mouthful. Although, I'll understand if there are some people who might find it too harsh and frank.

On a very honest scale, the title of the book subtly reveals what we can expect out of the book. When I first read this title, it put a smile on my face when I thought of how the author brought a thought provoking message with such a simplistic anecdote.

The title is very attention grabbing and explains the book well. It makes the reader think that if you want change, stop making excuses and do it.

I was so attracted and the title is perfect for the content of the book.
Think outside of the books.

I think the title speaks for itself. To me, until you are at the edge, you won't discover your true-self. And that can only be attained through searching books, reading and practicalizing what you have read. Great title!!

I feel the title is meant to be attention grabbing. I like the idea of an author taking risks like this. It definitely grabbed my attention and I am sure it's going to be time well spent reading this book.

i was really impressed by the authors humour, it is an approachable topic with very precise definitions. it creates visualisation of the books content even before it is read and for that it is a success

The title itself sounds motivational...not only challenges us to go out of our ways to be successful but also straight forward, not to offer excuses for our own successes..i like it

To be honest, it really put me off reading the book. I did not like it at all and think that the book should be renamed.

Don't judge a book by it's cover has become a cliche that can never go to oblivion, but you can for sure judge a book by it's cover for sure. The title is not only hypnotizing and mesmerizing but applies seamlessly to the lives of so many people.
I believe the word "but" has deprived so many people the successes they would have easily achieved.
I like the title, and I believe the content has really done justice to the title too.

It's a symbolic title, it's kind of says that your life can change anytime you want, specially if it's not going good! A memorable title, but kind of large I must say.
