Did 'Ghost Face' on the cover make you want to read the book more or less?

The cover art which is the face of a ghost and the title of the book is intriguing for me. I love to read and get more information about humanity, so I think the main themes tackles the invincible in society.

The cover page was not very inviting for me. It made me think that the story would revolve around the theme concerning horrors. I was surprised when I began reading the book to see that it had normal human characters. I have not finished reading it but it is very interesting.

The "Ghost Face" on the cover definitely made me want to read the book more. I grew up with the Scream movies and was hoping that the book would be more reflective of the franchise. As I was reading, I kept wondering when I would see more of the masked killer. When the masked killer did appear, it was always to serve more as a hero than a terror to the good guys. The book would have been scarier if the person behind the mask had been killing seemingly randomly. Overall, I thought the plot would include more "thrill kills" like the movies had and was disappointed that it didn't.

I definitely am not a fan of the cover. I have not read the book, but I read the sample (and loved it), abd think the cover does not do justice to the words inside!

I am not a fan of horror, so the Ghost Face mask actually put me off! After I read the sample of the book, I realized it was a murder mystery instead of a slasher novel. I guess this was a good example of my judging a book by its cover!

The cover definitely turned me off. I read the sample previously and was not impressed. I think that was because the cover gave me the creeps, and I really focused on the fear and horror of being stalked and kidnapped, and I did not want to read a book with lots of violence and gore.

This morning I re-read the sample (still not finished) and I find that I am enjoying the book more and relating more to the Paul character. I may have misjudged this book based on the cover!

I was also turned off by the cover. I thought it would be some sort of slasher/horror novel.

Love the cover! I haven't gotten a chance to read the book yet, but the first Scream movie was revolutionary in the horror genre with its fun, twisted and psychotically likeable killers and I hope that this book might bring me that same kind of thrill.

The Scream franchise was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the cover. I was not the biggest fan but I did enjoy the movies quite a bit. So, naturally, I was drawn to this book. I am currently reading it. It's not turning out to be what I expected but I'll wait till the end to form an opinion on it.

The "Ghost Face" on the cover did not affect whether or not I wanted to read this story. While the cover is eye-catching, it is reminiscent of the Scream series and I'm not a fan. I love good stories about the supernatural, mysteries, crimes and suspense and the cover seems to promise a supernatural story; so I perused the book reviews and blurbs to determine whether I was really interested in reading. The cover piqued my curiosity, but did not cause me to want to read the book.

I definetly dont like scary movies or the horror genre of books. I avoided the whole IT fiasco earlier this year and the Scream movies are higher up on my watch never list. The cover definetly turned me completely off the book.

I think the cover initially out me off, but not being one to judge a book by its cover, I read the book description and was instantly convinced that this is my type of book!
