Self-help wrapped up in a book of poems is a very unique concept. I'm one of those people that just don't appreciate poetry though so I'll probably skip reading this book. I skimmed through the beginning and I'd like to complement the artwork, it's quite good. Thanks for the insightful comments in your review, they make the book seem appropriate for those who like poetry.

After reading the review I will definitely put this on my list to read. Sounds enlightening. I’m interested to hear of her life experiences and the fact that it touches on social media I think this would be great for teens to read.

I have not read this collection of poems yet but it is nice to see something that deals with her background and things that happen to her everyday. Her mixed heritage is definitely something that adds to her collection of poems and I will definitely pick this up when I can. Great review.

I was instantly struck by the first lines of the forward: "it's ok to not be ok." We don't hear that enough. This book looks excellent.
