Well-written review, Miriam. I haven't read a book like this before. It would be nice if the author considered what you said in your review, and adds more value to the information shared in the novel. Also, loved the opening and closing quote. :)

Great review. I love both the opening and closing quotes. I agree that simply listing inspiring quotes is not enough. I’ve seen entire Twitter feeds devoted to just that, and it soon becomes quotation overload.

The book ends with the popular declamation piece “Invictus” about a man who is “the captain of his soul” and a psychedelic artwork with a throbbing heart inscribed with the message: “Love is powerful.” These last two pages encapsulate DAVita’s vision: Love will lead humanity to victory!
I remembered my high school days when we were reciting Invictus in the classroom and the old song Love Is A Many Splendoured Thing in your review.

Love Is A Many Splendoured Thing Lyrics
Artist: The Four Aces (Buy The Four Aces CDs)

Love is a many splendored thing
It's the April rose that only grows in the early spring
Love is nature's way of giving a reason to be living
The golden crown that makes a man a king
Once on a high and windy hill
In the morning mist two lovers kissed and the world stood still
Then your fingers touched my silent heart and taught it how to sing
Yes, true love's a many splendored thing.
😀

I think your review caught my attention more than the book would. Thanks for the review!

I am not sure this book is for me,
but I thoroughly enjoyed your
review. I chuckled at the quotation
you chose from the book, and I
actually laughed out loud at your
Pinterest comment. You do have a
witty way with words, love it.
Great review, as usual.

I love the quote at the beginning of the review. Anyway, this seems like an interesting book to read. I would like to try to download this one.
