What is your Marvel Favorite character? I'm Team Iron Man

Post by Aliaa88 »

For me , Tony Stark is the best. I think it is one of the kind that anybody can relate to, to see a part of yourself in him. The fact that he has everything but yet always struggling. It is ironic that what makes him special is what also makes him suffer.
For Marvel fans out there......Who is YOUR character and why?

Aliaa88 I love iron man too! He is one of my favorite characters but I think my favorite is Rogue from X-Men. I actually liked her character more in the animated series than the movies. Her power is immense because she can absorb everyone's powers but it gets out of her control often. Her character is tragic because she literally can't touch someone without draining them, making it nearly impossible for her to find love. She can't even kiss someone without hurting them!

I also think her powers are awesome though! I loved watching her hurl men twice her size across the room!

Thor! I love how his stories incorporate both mythology and relatable sibling/family dynamics.

I am also a huge fan of Tony Stark/Ironman. I see him as being someone "real" who possesses qualities that anyone can relate to. He's down to earth and a genuine person.... The fact that he's a genius isn't too bad either ;) I have liked Ironman since I saw the Avengers for the first time! I just had to go and buy all of the Ironman DVDs and now have quite the collection- I love it!

I don't blame you for picking Tony Stark as your favorite. He is really awesome! As for me I'd have to say Jessica Jones. I haven't heard of her before watching the show, but she's now easily one of my favorite characters of all time.

May I just say - good choice!

I have a hard time just pinning it down to only one... but I am willing to give you my top 5. Is that ok? You can take the first one I list as an answer if you prefer.

Here they are:

Wolverine
Rogue
Jessica Jones
Spiderman
Iron Man

My favorite is very little known. Moondragon! She has great telekinetic powers and shows up in the comics.
I'll agree that the animated series with Rogue was much better than the movies. The movies unfortunately, made her very dull and that was sad

I love Thor, mainly because of the mythology aspect.

Picking just one is painful, but I'm definitely a fan of Iron Man. I would say he'd have to be in the top 3. Rogue is amazing too, but I also love Mystique. Magneto is high on my list as well.

When I was a child, my doctor gave me Captain America Meets The Asthma Monster and it made me feel good about having asthma. I've loved Captain America ever since. I think he has the best personality of all the heroes even if he's habitually used a political statement. I think so few people look past the overly patriotic motif to see who Cap/Steve is as a person and why he's such a unique hero.
