Review of Love and Marriage
Love and Marriage by Arthur Hartz is a graphic novel about love and dating. People always suffer in love because they do not understand things, as lovers will not see good in you just because you see it in them, they will not like you because you like them, and they will not treat you with honesty and respect because you do so. Evolutionary psychology shows that men like women with big breasts and wide hips due to fertility but women like rich men because they can provide. People choose partners depending on what they want, what they can give, and whether the partners desire what they can offer. Some people date for sex, but when women's status is not dependent on their dates, it becomes game over. Power in a relationship comes when one person needs and loves the other more while the others do it less. Many marriages have conflicts, where men treat women badly.
The book was educative on love and marriage-related topics. The book provides critics of many people about dating, and most of them have the wrong idea of love, such as dating for sex, social status, and looks. With the book, you can learn the purpose of dating and having a better marriage which many people lack because they dated for the wrong purpose. The author's style of using graphics to show critics of love and marriage was good. It enabled easy reading, and apart from that, it enabled the reader to capture the critics well. The author introduces each chapter with some background information about it. I think he does so to simplify the chapter since the graphics may be complex to understand, but the author simplified them by providing a brief introduction to each chapter.
There are no negative aspects in this book.
I rate Love and Marriage by Arthur Hartz five out of five stars. The book was explicitly well-edited because I found no errors. The book was educative to people who want to date and those already dating and have problems in their relationships. The critics help people understand where their problems are in marriage and how they can solve them and have better relationships. The author's presenting style of the information is genius and deserves a perfect rating.
I recommend this book to couples and anyone interested in learning about dating. The book talks about love and marriage and mentions what many relationships are built of, what makes good relationships good, and what to avoid when dating. It needs the reader to brainstorm to understand some points.
