It was one of mine as well. :)

I liked every scene involving Kent, as well :). Someone mentioned earlier about the hot chocolate scene, and I thought that was thoughtful and kind. I also liked the day Samantha spent with Izzy, and how much Izzy looks up to her big sister.

I loved when Sam gave Izzy her charm necklace and how Izzy ran immediately to her parents saying, "Look what Sam gave me!" She was so excited and happy that her sister had given her something that she'd cherished permanently.

Scenes involving Sam. She's a deep thinker, one of a kind. You see, in life, we doesn't really go around showing appreciation for the others. The way she cherishes little things, little stuff that seems worthless or not valued by ya, she treat it preciously, and living everyday as if it's her last. That's something that all of us should learn from.

“This is pretty much the answer to every problem you encounter in suburbia: plant a tree, and hope you don't see anyone's privates.”

“I wonder if it’s ever really possible to know the truth about someone else, or if the best we can do is just stumble into each other, heads down, hoping to avoid collision.”

“I've never really had a party before."
"Why did you have one now?" I say, just to keep him talking.
He gives a half laugh. "I thought if I had a party, you would come.”
** Of course, I liked any quote that involved Kent speaking. :)

Most of my favorite scenes included Kent, but I think my favorite was either when he said that he vowed to himself to be Sam's hero or when he made her hot chocolate and tucked her in bed.

I liked how they evolved what happened with cupid day and how it changed in Sam's thoughts. It was so important to her at the beginning and then became something she detested at the end.
Anyone who says they have only one life to live must not know how to read a book.

Oh, its been a long time since I read the book but the first things that pops into my mind is the time Sam spent a day with sister. I'm not sure but this was probably around the time Sam started seeing her faults and mistakes.

The moment that made me flutter is when Kent asks Sam if she is in trouble and then he says that she can count on Kent, and Kent will help her. I was so cheery and swooning when I was reading that part because it was soooo perfect.

Thimble wrote: 02 Feb 2016, 00:33 I really liked it when Sam and her friends were just hanging out and relaxing by themselves. It's in these moments that you see them supporting each other and having fun with each other without having to worry about image. It's a great contrast to how they treat other people. Also, any moment with Kent is awesome.
This was a good piont.

This might be an underrated opinion, but the last moment Sam spends with her sister is my absolute favourite.
