Congratulate D.F. Jones on Antique Mirror sales

Post by Scott »

Please take a moment to congratulate @"DFJones", author of the November book of the month Ruby's Choice. Her other book, Antique Mirror, has recently been working its way to the #3 bestseller in its category. :D

Antique Mirror has all 5-star ratings on Amazon, and it's a short book that takes less than an hour to read. So I can see why it's topping the charts.

Can I also say I love how the title of this topic might make people think we are congratulating D.F. Jones on selling old mirrors? :lol2:

Last summer, I was approached to do a short for an Halloween anthology. I wrote Antique Mirror on the fly. My contract ended at the first of the year so I uploaded the short to Amazon (Free for five days with KDP). Last week, it began to rise in rank to #3 in romance and #6 in time travel for free 45 minute short reads! Dad blame it, I was stoked! Amazon ranks change rapidly so I enjoyed the moment and took snaps of the ranking to encourage me while I write. I would like to develop Antique Mirror into a stand alone after Sandy's Story, DLD (Ditch Lane Diaries, vol 3).
I love time travel books, articles, documentaries, and movies. I have one other time travel project on the back burner in additions to Antique Mirror.

Thank you Scott and all of OBC readers for supporting Indie writers!

I was wondering why OBC was supporting an antiquing business

Congrats D.F. Jones! I am also glad to hear that Antique Mirror is a book and doesn't refer to the sale of old mirrors. :)
