Tammy

Is Tammy a casualty of the "Tap It" game? How do you feel about her as a character? Did you feel any sympathy for her or is she seeing more into her relationship with Reed then was actually there?

I felt like she kind of knew about the "Tap It"game all along. At least to some degree. After finishing the book I didn't feel bad for her I felt she caused some of the contention between Reed and Ruby.

I don't know, but I didn't like her at all. I don't like people like her, and thought she was very annoying and unpleasant woman.

I have conflicting feelings about Tammy. At first I thought how can a girl be so clueless as to not know that she is being used. Then I switched to maybe she doesn't care if Reed does not have feelings for her as he is great eye candy. But ultimately, no I do not feel sorry for her.

I found Tammy annoying. I think she tricked herself into believing that eventually Reed will come to his senses and date her exclusively. Reed keeps saying Tammy knew they were not serious and yet she kept acting like she had no clue it was a casual relationship.

Tammy was annoying. I didn't like her and didn't spend much time thinking about her.

I agree. I also found her to be a bit annoying. Always around but mostly just trying to cause problems. She probably did always hope there would be more between her and Reed eventually.

Tammy seemed shallow and was very bothersome. She might have known about the game to some extent.

Tammy seems like one of those girls whose life revolves around what color of lipstick to wear. :) Still, I felt sorry for her. Even though Reed told her they weren't exclusive, I think she felt humiliated when it was clear that Reed was interested in Ruby.

As per me..Tammy was one of those characters who need an eye candy next to them to show off...so maybe she might have had some idea about Tap it....!! She was not really a casuality or a problem...just another stepping stone in Ruby and Reed's relationship...

I still felt bad for her since Reed made it so obvious that he liked Ruby, even when he was out with Tammy.

Tammy was never really in love with Reed. She liked keeping him on the string for two reasons. She enjoyed flaunting him in front of her sorority friends, and he was hot in bed. They both dated other people and were never exclusive.

Thanks for the clarification. I guessed I viewed her as someone who got the short end of the stick.

Yes, that was good clarification. I never really liked Tammy, and agree with what others have said about her wanting to flaunt Reed around and enjoy going to bed with him. She would never be a person I would personally call a friend since her appearance mattered more to her than anything else. In other words, I don't feel bad for her.

I feel bad for Tammy. She was just Reed's Jerry, except she actually got to sleep with Reed.
