Re: Margaret Reminded Me of What I Needed to Know -- Message from Rob White

Post by Bainomugisha »

Dear Rob,
As I read through your letter, I realised that writing is therapeutic. It helps us paint our inner selves trough words and, if these words are consumed by genuine minds-the gurus, who then give their own interpretation of the reality behind the words, the paintings they make help us (the writers) do a meaningful reflection on our lives and change for the better. Now I come to believe Chinua Achebe when he wrote that a Writer sheds his sickness on paper" and I humbly add on that the consumers of his writing help the writer get liberated from whatever sickness he was painting in his writing. This then spreads to all humanity who access such works of art.
Thanks Rob once again. I am going to read your book "Margaret Reminded Me of What I need to Know.

Thanks, Rob, for an inspiring narrative. It’s early in the morning, I’ll keep an eye out for somebody who has something meaningful to say to me. I will resist the tendency to pre-judge who that person may be. I will seek to listen and understand.

That’s my mission today!

Thank you so much for your beautiful book...I loved the fact that you described the work as a 'light' read.

Thank you for this beautiful message.

Interesting...
Looking at ordinary folks as 'gurus' is a good idea. I haven't read your book yet, but it sounds like it would be a fun and interesting read.
