I’m currently reading Strong Heart and if I didn’t have to work, I would have finished it in a day. It’s brilliant!

6. What is the most important thing you want your readers to get out of the book?
If someone who reads the book keeps thinking about the characters and the issues raised in the tale, is provoked to think, and enjoys the story, I have been successful.
Strong Heart is awesome. It was not an easy read, especially in the middle part where Sarah is relating her abduction and canoeing experiences, but the rest of the story more than compensates. I have always been fascinated with Indians, at least since I started singing "Ten Little Indians."
I also struggled through that part. But, I persevered because his research was so thorough I knew if I put the effort in it would all make sense in the end. I would love to see the book rewritten with Sarah's story woven in in smaller sections with the current day story and written in the present tense. It's a difficult thing to get right but I feel Sheldon would be up to it:-)

Interesting interview. I really enjoyed reading Strong Heart. I couldn't avoid have a look at the interview.
The holiday experience... I had a similar one. lol
It's funny to see that Charlie Sheldon was still working on Adrift, when this interview was made.
To read or not to read? That's not even a question!

Great interview! I loved the first book of the Strong Heart series and since then Charlie Sheldon has been my favourite author. Can't wait to read the next book in the series!
You can't buy happiness but you can buy books, and that's kind of the same thing

Well everyone and their judgement to this interview. However as the saying goes 'Salt do not praise itself ', your works speaks better than your words though. Nice interview!!.

It's a nice interview. I can't imagine the effort you had to forestall to make this interview as exciting and encouraging as it is now. I chose strong heart over thousands of friends.
