The Wall: Questions for Kristi Hudecek-Ashwill

Post by ALynnPowers »

I have an exciting announcement! OnlineBookClub.org will be presenting our first ever Author Interview! I will soon be having a chat with author Kristi Hudecek-Ashwill, whose short story "Ghostwriter" was featured in Holding Fire. Furthermore, Kristi's novel For the Love of Suzanne will be released later this month and is now available for pre-order! Stay tuned for more information about that, when I get Kristi to tell us a little bit about her new book. Add it to your Bookshelves if you haven't already: forums.onlinebookclub.org/shelves/book. ... p?id=41740

And since we're all friends here at Online Book Club, I would like to get other members involved in the interview with me! I'm going to be referring to this as "The Wall" ... So I'm calling for all of you to post some questions on "The Wall" that you would like for me to ask. Authors are people too, and it would be fun to have some random questions to get to know them better for the people that they are, rather than simply sticking to the predictable, boring questions that always come up during an interview.

What can you ask? Well, anything! (But be appropriate). Silly and fun questions are encouraged on The Wall!

Examples:
What's your favorite flavor of ice cream?
Which Harry Potter character are you most like?
When you were a teenager, what celebrity were you secretly in love with?

I will be selecting some questions at random "off The Wall," depending on what kind of response we have, and if I ask your question, you will be featured in the interview as well. Expect to be tagged when the official interview comes out!

So what do you want me to ask Kristi for our first interview?
Start posting your questions! Ready, go!

If you were a bicycle part, which part would you like to be?

Actually, I think it's a great "personality profile" question! Think about it!

Wheel - you like to control your own destiny
Spoke - you are a team player
Seat - (Better be careful) you are interested in making others feel comfortable
Handlebars - you like to be in control
Chain - you like to work, but don't need all the attention
Pedal - you are a doer!
Reflector - you like attention and are easy and carefree
brake pad - you are analytical and logical, looking before you leap
Sprocket - I have no idea

Whoa! You're WAY overthinking the analogy here!

(PS- "the place where you pump up the tire" is called the valve. )

Of course that's what it's called. But I wasn't sure you would know that word, so I was using easier language for you. 8)

I picked the seat. Interesting. Cool self-quiz, Pasha!

Kristi, do you dream in black and white, technicolor, or pastels?

I made it up on the spot! I should have been a psychiatrist! Only I'm not crazy enough.
