Veiled Identity

Post by Eteru »

Amidst the mess this world has offered
You were bewildered for how she stayed serene
Like a knight undaunted by the blades of a sword
She was taught not to step back, but be keen

Amidst the mess this world has offered
You haven't seen her flinched nor spoke in rave
Like an ocean unbothered by the roars of a storm
She paid heed to nothing but her own wave

Amidst the mess this world has offered
You witnessed her presence stood up in beam
Like a moon whose light wasn't meant to hoard
She glows the most when all around her is dim

For these were only what she allowed you to see
Still behind her walls there hides an untold story
Yet the world refused to dig who she really is within
Who she really is, when no one else is watching

This is amazing! You use the simplest of words, yet effortlessly put power in them. I really love this piece.
