If you had to listen to only one genre of music for the rest of your life, what would it be?

This is the place for readers of poetry. Discuss poetry and literary art. You can also discuss music here, including lyrics. Also, you can discuss poets themselves, in addition to poetry.

That’s a very tough decision, but I think I would go with country, cause you have almost everything in there

Am i the only one who would listen to pop my whole life??😂😂😂 I just love how it could get you dance and cry the next moment, depending on what is popular at the time ofcourse 😂😂
I would also have to say pop. The songs are just catchy, and I think that there’s a song for any kind of situation/mood. It’s also a broad genre so there are a lot of songs to choose from.

Heavy metal. \m/ My brain cannot tolerate most any other kind of music, except for classical and folk.

Pop I guess. The songs can capture my moods whether I'm sad, happy and enthusiastic.

Tough decision indeed. Probably I would go with rock or classical music.

You may forget the warmth he gave,
I will forget the light.

I may remember him!

One type of music is listen to the rest of my life would be classical, it would have to be lol because I figure that’s got the most instruments .. atleast I can listen to music all day for a whole life time and always have a different beat song .. sound.. make my own up.. other then say rock music cause of its drums guitar and bass Guitar.. how far can you get with that? This is such a cruel question. My genre preference changes with my mood but that being said, I state I could listen to folk, from anywhere, always.

Oh, definitely Baroque. I adore everything by Bach -- any instruments, any arrangement, it doesn't matter. Other Baroque composers are good too, but Bach is the best.

I'd either pick pop or rock pop. I like music that is energetic and makes me want to move.

I agree with you. That's a really tough question, though.

If I could have only one, it would be traditional Christian, and after that, classical.

If I had to choose a single genre it would be Indie and Alternative, more specifically Alternative Rock. I like Halsey, Imagine Dragons, Lana del Rey, Hozier, Twenty One Pilots. The songs have this catchy, otherworldly feeling I adore very much.
