Left Heartbroken

Post by Gingin »

It’s hard to hold on to someone who wants to leave
You want their touch but they can no longer give
Your heart’s bleeding and in so much pain,
You want to feel great yet so much to regain.

It is painful when two hearts fall apart
It’s like in a battle without a cart
Your heart is paralyze, don’t know how to start
In a place you believe with no broken heart.

How can you love her and hurt her so
She’s like a snow that you want to throw
Left in the darkness with questions in mind
“How could you love me and leave me blind?”

Heartache is not easy, your heart’s in a hole
It’s difficult to endure, don’t know how to control
With your heart full of love and nothing to call
In a world full of misery, lies, hatred and all.

They say, “Love is a many splendored thing,”
Then why do lovers left with nothing?
Some may be helpless, don’t know what to do
They believe in love and want to undo.

Few may ask “How to mend a broken heart?”
Others would say, “You just have to be smart”
Time heals all wounds just carry on.
You just have to be strong and need to move on.

Yes it's touching but would do you good to proof read it first.. ie ' love is a many splendored thing, then why do lovers left with nothing... In my opinion the latter would have been better versed if put .."then why are lovers left without a thing, or , 'then why do lovers leave with nothing'.... But it's a touching piece
