Music heals your soul

This is the place for readers of poetry. Discuss poetry and literary art. You can also discuss music here, including lyrics. Also, you can discuss poets themselves, in addition to poetry.

Absolutely agree with what everyone else has said. It is a major source of beauty, wonder, joy, and meaning in life. This life would be incomplete without music!

Yep! I can feel totally down for a spell, and when I come across the right tune I'll swing upwards once again. It's potent enough medicine to last for months until the next purging cycle begins.

This is so true. I've always found that listening to music helps me calm down. It really soothes my soul and lessens my stress levels. It's why I always listen to music while I'm studying, since it has a positive effect on me rather than without.

Sure music is a good cure. When I listen to a song that touches my soul, the lyrics fill my mind with fantasies of world I would love to see myself in.

I personally find music as a great way to channel my emotions or even to help me open up when I am feeling distant

Agree..I liked that people invented music especially with the different genres because it enables us to heal ourselves in different moods that we have
