I like pop music infused with some elements of rock and R&B. Generally, I am not picky about the genres, but I steer clear from heavy metal and hip hop. It is a bit... jarring to me.
It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.

I think Tricky should be a genre of its own. If it were, then Tricky would be my favorite genre, however since it is not recognized as such, I will go with Trip hop.

I love all sorts of music. It really depends on what kind of mood I am in. I tend toward pop, rock, or the like. I do like Panic! at the Disco, Hailee Steinfeld, and most musicals.

Its hard to make a pick because if I were to list songs that grip my attention ,there would a mix. For example raintax by Celine Dion,Kiss no frog by Lucky Dube, ignition by R.Kelly regardless of his reputation,To love a woman by Brian Adams just to mention a few.If the song is good, I care less about the genre.

I enjoy listening to classic rock and eighties metal. I also enjoy eighties goth groups like Sisters of Mercy, The Cure, and Siouxsie and the Banshees. I think the music made back then is much more beautiful, creative, and thought-provoking.

I’m pretty eclectic, but guitar based is my thing. That ranges from David Bowie to Coldplay to Damh the Bard. I was born in the mid 70s though so I also love that early synth pop like The Human League, Depeche Mode and Yazzoo, but give me the New Romantics any day - that Burundi beat gets me every time.
