I always listen to music when I'm working. It helps me to get in the right mood. Everything is always more fun with music.

I do listen to music when I study sometimes actually, it helps me keep my energy up and focus.

Music gets the creative juices flowing. I sometimes play card games or write lyrics to fire the brain up before working.

All the time. There are different kinds of music for different kinds of work you're engaged into. Whether it is physical labor or mental stress, music has the solution to everything.

I normally listen to either classical music when I work or I listen to those lofi study beats. I have to have some kind of background sound to keep from going crazy. And when I read, i have to have some sound in the back. Any little noise can through me out of my concentration

If I don't need to concentrate on my work I like to listen to my playlists. If I need to concentrate, like reading and comprehending, I listen to music with no words.

When working around the house - definitely. When surfing the net - most times. When doing serious work on my laptop or studying - never; music then becomes noise pollution 8) .

Listening to music while working is a double-edged sword in my experience. For repetitive, monotonous tasks, music helps me work faster and concentrate better. However, whenever it's a new subject and I need concentration, music tends to only cause distraction. In short, it depends on what type of work I'm doing. It can be helpful or harmful.
