This is a little strange, but I find listening to Disney songs helps me. Or I use YouTube, and search ‘study music’ which usually brings a whole list of different songs without words, to avoid distractions.

I've recently started using deezer and it's helped loads. I'm a student too, and when I study I like to listen to calm piano or acoustic chill type of music. If it's too loud I wont concentrate and if it's a song-worm I might end up singing along. So classical is the best.

If you dont like classocal music, you could try to listen to the instrumentals of your fave songs. That seemed to work for me xx

I've tried listening to music while studying but it's not working for me. I thought to try different types of music but still no effect, so the silence is the best.

Listen music from hans zimmer. He produces music for films. There are no lyrics so you don't get distracted.

I've heard that listening to video game music is great for studying because it's music that's intended to make you focus and concentrate. I personally listen to Low-fi type music or anything without lyrics.

I tried classical music but it yielded no results even music I knew the lyrics too already proved futile. I ended up listening to ocean waves or rainfall. (I'm aware it's not the typical music but it is nature's music. :D )

Instrumental music is probably best for studying, I'd say. I also enjoy putting on albums I've listened to countless times as I study, I know all the lyrics and sounds already so I don't tend to get distracted by those.

It's super specific but I listen to piano covers of Studio Ghibli music, especially when writing an assignment. Something about it is relaxing and comfortable yet it doesn't distract me. I think it's the melodies in the songs that keep me going through the rougher spots while working on language based activities (reading, researching, writing, that stuff).

I had to switch to instrumental soundtracks after a while because I'd become distracted by the lyrics of songs with words.

For me, it's classical, wordless EDM, or the Chillhop playlists on YouTube and on other streaming services.
