To fellow Mu$!©°^°Lovers;
~°°Sometimes it depends on the nature, time and specific state of reading. cuz in some cases ,You do endup falling for a song You never really liked before!
But on a balanced-mode, i prefer *Indie+folk, Lo-fi/soul, or sometimes even *Country & *punks or just Lowpitched RnB,Pop or alt-rock..... *like i said, all on the mood, cuz couple of mins into deep reading?. aint gat no focus on whats sounding anymore.. just the *rhythm*Only.°•° #NiceTopic

I like to listen to classic rock radio stations softly as I read. One problem... I get so distracted when a yucky song comes on!

I find it hard to read while listening to my favorite music. I find myself concentrating on the music more.

I used to listen to punk rock while doing math homework (Hawk Nelson, Fm Static). I'm not a maths person, but it gave me something to enjoy while solving problems.

I can stand some noise in the background no particular music as long as it's not loud :wink2:

If I am reading a hardcopy novel,i don't listen to any music because it is a distraction. However,if I am reading a softcopy either on my PC or phone, I usually listen to oldschool rap music with a taste of jazz and sometimes reggae songs.

If the material read is an interesting story, a soft and gentle music will suffice for me. If the reading demands much cognitively, I will do without music.

Either one works for me. I can listen to soft music like Lana del rey or Adele or one of Rihanna's calm songs. Nothing too festive because that would be too distracting. I can also work and read in silence its safer honestly as your imaginations are not interrupted by sounds.

Any kind of music will do. Very quickly it moves to the background and I start having different ideas about the things I need to do.

I like to hear instrumentals, acoustic guitars or slow paced pop songs. It helps me to concentrate on the story while reading. Has anyone else tried this? :techie-studyingbrown:

Something soft; if it's too harsh it will distract me from the book I'm reading. Usually I listen to Mumford and Sons or something similar.
