I like listening to different kinds of music for different types of activities. When I go walking I like to listen to upbeat music, and when I am relaxing or going to bed I like to listen to instrumental music. Disney music is great when I feel like I need to be inspired, so that's when I break out the soundtrack from Moana or I listen to Try Everything from Zootopia. I also enjoy listening to music from musicals for inspiration as well. I'm not a big fan of country because the more twangy, whiny sounding ones get really annoying to me.

I love slow ballads! The melody isn't just beautiful and sweet; they also convey special messages which I personally love and appreciate.

I listen to all kinds of things!!! Mostly alternative rock and dark pop, though. Once in a while, I’ll listen to some electronic pop and heavy metal. Lyrics are very important to me, so if the lyrics are good, I’ll most likely love it :)

This past week I have been on a Broadway Musical trend. I have Sirius XM and this is one of my preset channels. As I have scrolled through, I have heard several songs I recognized and was singing along. Today, I watched Jesus Christ, Superstar on Demand. I have those songs running through my head. I cannot wait until Easter to see this performed live with John Legend.

Oh, man. I like some Japanese music, especially Vocaloid (as a relatively embarrassing holdover from my teenage years), some classical music but particularly Shostakovitch, electro, the broad genre of video game music, some rock, all sorts of things. To say my music taste is all over the place would be an understatement! I mostly just like songs with energy and interesting contrast.
