Alright, this one's pretty obscure, but for some reason, it never fails to lift up my mood. The animation is so bouncy and expressive, too, even if it's pretty nonsensical.

One of my all time favorite songs is "It Was Always You" by Maroon 5. It's always seemed to be the ultimate romantic song, and a very catchy beat.

Ive been listening to some early Sun record recordings, Elvis, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, Sonny Burgess, Billy Lee Riley etc. Great old original authentic rock and roll.

Music ... and poetry ... together always brings me to Ed Kowalczyk, lead singer and songwriter for Live.

One of my favorites is Lightning Crashes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsJ4O-nSveg

Lightning crashes a new mother cries
Her placenta falls to the floor
The angel opens her eyes
The confusion sets in
Before the doctor can even close the door
Lightning crashes an old mother dies
Her intentions fall to the floor
The angel closes her eyes
The confusion that was hers
Belongs now to the baby down the hall

Have you ever paid a visit to sun studios? Amazing place, so cool! You can record there still.

I listen to many genres of music, so I'd like to comment some songs here and there whenever I get the chance.

I'd like to share The Final Time Traveler by Sarah Àlainn

No Ive never been there but I would like to see it. It was the origin of true rock and roll. Ive seen a few videos about Sun's history and I even have a book about it, Sun Records An Oral History by John Floyd.

Would you believe that an old guy like me can like this stuff? The first time I heard this thing I thought it was the best song I'd heard in ten years ... I still think that.

Don't let the appearance of these kids fool you. They are really very clean cut - choral singers and everything. The blond guy, the lead singer, and the girl grew up together as friends and sung in in the high school choir. The bass was in a nerdy glee club in another school and the beat boxer (the black guy) is actually an accomplished classical cello player and has been on stage with Yo Yo Ma.

Love Again by Pentatonix (one of their very few original songs)

All voice - no musical instruments. Check out the beat boxer. Great stuff!

A candid performance. These guys are great even when they're just fooling around.
