How do you discover new music?

This is the place for readers of poetry. Discuss poetry and literary art. You can also discuss music here, including lyrics. Also, you can discuss poets themselves, in addition to poetry.

I find a lot of new songs on TikTok actually. Granted they aren't all good, but I credit TikTok for filling up the majority of my playlists

I normally find new music through Spotify. After giving my favorite artists, there will be a weekly playlist made for me based on the genre of songs that I listen to and similar artists. It works out well most of the time!

I also use Youtube recommendations. Sometimes if I want certain mood or vibe I search for long playlists like "work music" or "chill music playlist".

I've tried finding new music through browsing old records at flea markets, listening to pandora or other similar sites, and listening to what my friends like. Nothing seems to give me good results!

If anybody has any other ideas or suggestions, I would love to see what you have to say :)
Maybe try boom player or better yet try using Audiomac

I usually do Pandora or My Supermix on YouTube Music. I hear your struggle with finding something new, though. I still have that problem sometimes. Usually, I can look at my sister's playlist and find something new, or sometimes I'll go back to a song I liked years ago and try to find new songs off of them by starting a station with them.

I go to the browse section in apple music and look for new music in all my favorite genres. Another way I discover new music is from watching TV shows or movies and if a song catches my attention, I look it up and find more music from that artist or from the genre that it is from.

I just play the auto play option of YouTube and Spotify. If I like the music I keep listening and if don't I just click the next.
