I spend a lot of time listening to music which does not affect my reading in any bad way. It improves my reading absolutely.

Absolutely, I have turned songs into soundtracks. There are endless songs that I can listen today and transport me to that moment, to that emotion that I felt while reading.

Yes, I can’t comprehend and retain words while listening to music. I’d rather read books silently.

Untill today music never affects my reading. From my childhood I used to see movies or hear music while I'm studying. So I used to it and it never distracts me whatever work I do.

When I am reading, everything else melts away. So whether I'm listening to classical or rock, it doesn't make much of a difference because I simply tune it out.

Yes music absolutely affects what am reading. Good music helps my understanding.

My mood will be determined by the music, but the book's atmosphere will not be affected.

I don’t usually listen to music when I read, but I understand what you’re referring here. I think I object this time, I am an introverted persona dn that doesn't mean I read the book in this tone. It all depends on what the genre of the book is.

I listen to music when I do a lot of things. But I tried the whole listening to music and reading and it distracts me. When I am reading I am in a whole new world and I quite literally envision the characters but when I listen to music I can't do this.

Music distracts me a lot when reading, and I can't focus at all. I prefer total silence when reading something.

I honestly don’t like reading while I’m listening to music as it affects me. Listening to music hampered my overall attention to every detail of the book.

Yes, music affects what I read depending on the type of music I am listening into. Certain types of music, including fast music, loud music, and music with lyrics, can make it harder to understand and absorb reading material. But a relaxing, stress-free, peaceful music would help my reading more understandable and give me gain more interest in reading.

No, but it affects what I imagine when I create different scenes for my stories.

It depends on what kind of music I listen to while reading. If I'm listening to something loud, it becomes distracting. Yes, music does have an effect when you read.
