Gospel music is so uplifting. It can pull you through some very tough times. I'm more of a worship fan than praise. I listen to a lot of other stuff. In fact, rap is my favourite genre. But the only songs on my favourite play list are gospel songs.

Absolutely! As a new follower of Jesus, I really love the contemporary Christian scene. Hillsong, Kari Jobe, Plumb, Danny Gokey, and Bethel are a few of my favorites.

I love gospel songs. They are very relaxing and calming. Plus, the lyrics are very intimate and personal.

I've always thought of "Gospel" and "Christian" music as two separate genres. Not in message or anything that way, but just sound. Gospel has got so much sweet soul to it, a little jazzy flavor. Christian music can cover Zach Williams (with some Country twang), to Owl City (electronic tones), to Chris Tomlin... I love it all, but musically, there's several lines.
