Most music keeps me wide awake so I don't listen to music when trying to fall asleep.
What really puts me under is my fan on its lowest setting.

I made myself a sleepy playlist! It includes things like "The Moon Song" from the film Her, "Mrs. Cold" by Kings of Convenience, and "My One and Only Love" by John Coltrane.

I had a separate playlist in me which contains only slow songs in different genres. Of course the lists of songs were all my favorite and I always play it whenever it’s hard for me to sleep.

Sometimes. I have a station on Pandora that I like to listen to called Relaxing Music that plays only instrumental songs. I enjoy that one a lot cause they are slower paced songs and you are not so focused on the words, so you are not singing along when you are trying to sleep, unless of course you recognize the song.

Sounds that makes me fall asleep are moatly instrumentals or acoustic versions of songs.

General RnB will be my take on this. I may go for particular reggae too, being Lucky Dube.

lovelyreader21 wrote: 16 Oct 2014, 09:09 Do you find that music helps you sleep? If so, what styles of music do you listen to while trying to sleep? I'm interested to hear, because I find both rock music and slower melodies to be how I generally get myself to bed.
Yes, music does help me go to sleep one reason is that if you had a stressing day and you just want to relax I would suggest to listen to music and one of your favorites. The music I’m interested in is hip hop , pop , spanish songs and I would enjoy to fall asleep while listening to my favorite songs.🙂
