Chris Issak's Wicked Game is one of my favorites, and pretty much anything by Sade in the 90's. I'm sure I could name quite a few from this decade as well...but the classics never wear out.

Anything by the Lumineers, especially "Charlie Boy," or Hozier's "cherry wine". But, I have to say, "Flightless Bird", by Iron and Wine, will always pull my heart strings.
read well and write bravely

I heard one a couple days ago I liked, Happy Anniversary by Roy Rogers. A nice song about growing old together.
"I planted some birdseed. A bird came up. Now I dont know what to feed it." Ramblings of a retired senile mind.
