Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo by Rick Derringer. Hard-drivin, blues-based rock. Never tire of it.

When my sister was a teenager, she listened to "Babe" by Styx over and over ad nauseam. I was never crazy about Styx, and that's not a song I was fond of. Drove me crazy, lemme tell ya.

My wife had an 8-track tape by Phil Collins she played over and over again. I was glad when it turned into a birds nest like 8-tracks were prone to do.

lol I remember that! Yep, super-annoying and pretty dumb song. Reminds me of "Every Breath You Take" by The Police and "Missing You" by John Waite. They played them AD NAUSEAM. I wanted to throw the radio out the window whenever they came on. They still irritate me.

Im that way about Elvis. After he died thats all you heard every time you turned the radio on for about two years. To this day I can listen to a couple of his songs and thats enough. Except for his Sun recordings. They were among his best and wernt heard a lot.

I used to work in this production plant and the piped this station through the PA system. Al they played was the top 40 over and over again. That gets real old. Someone changed the station to a country music oldies station and some of those dizzy dames had a fit. But it was pleasant for a change if only for one day. Next day it was back to the mindless boring top 40.
