Playing Orion by Metallica in my head over and over was the only way I got through a class in high school. It was SO over all of our heads that our valedictorian got the highest grade in the class and it was a high F before the curve. Crazy! But at least I knew I could get through it each day because of that song. It took almost exactly 5 times for it to play in my head and then the class would be mercifully over. Ah, the memories.

One I used to listen to a lot was My Friend Elizabeth from 1930 by Debroy Somers Band.

A bouncy little old time tune, a real toe tapper. Lyrics about a woman who dosent like the long dresses in 1930, she liked the short skirts in the 1920's so she could show off her legs.

I am listening to the song right now played by Ray Martin and His Concert Orchestra instead of the Debroy Somers Band and I have to say it IS quite the bouncy song as you said!
