Sad and Beautiful

Post by Annalise Davis »

The notes floated through the air
no words
letting the sad beauty tell all
never stopped playing
telling the story,
piercing in the hearts,
all that could hear the sound
always around

Love it. Well done...There is a lot of hurt in loneliness.

I do not why but I still do not understand the poem even after reading it several times. :(
When people say you've changed, it just means that you have stopped living your life, their way.

An excellent description of the power of music to invade us, possess us, transport us through only the medium of sound.

Nice poem!

(But you should have posted this in the Creative Original Works: Poetry forum in the "Writing" section for greater visibility.)
