The turn in the weather
Will keep us together
So I can honestly say
That as far as I'm concerned
It's a lovely day and everything's okay

- Fred Astaire, Isn't This a Lovely Day :tiphat:
"Maybe the two different worlds we lived in weren't so different. We saw the same sunset." - Ponyboy Curtis, The Outsiders

My current favorite set of lyrics is from the song "Small Talk" by Kid Quill, and they go:
"Okay you send me songs that remind you of me
And (eff) it I don't even listen
I don't pay attention
It's like half those things in a song ain't true
You text me just to talk 'bout you
It might be mean and it might be rude
But don't call me I don't wanna make small talk."

Heart beats fast
Colors and promises
How to be brave?
How can I love when I’m afraid to fall?
But watching you stand alone,
All of my doubt suddenly goes away somehow.

I have died every day waiting for you
Darling, don’t be afraid I have loved you
For a thousand years
I’ll love you for a thousand more.

"let he who is without sin be the first to cast the stone" and "life os not about your poicies all the time, so you better rearrange your philosophies and be good to your fellow man" it actually took me some time before i got that.

I have never been one to have one favorite anything, so; from first favorite poem which is 'The wall and the bridge' by Chukwumerije Dike

"For the wall and the bridge are both in the heart."

And from my second favorite poem which is 'The old atronomer' by Sarah Williams

"Though my soul may set in darkness, it shall rise in perfect light. For I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night."

It really is a very sweet song. Some of that strength in love vibe.

I have a bunch of favorites right now. But the one that comes to mind is a song that hits home for me.

"Ain't not rest for the wicked, Money don't grow on trees. I got bills to pay, I got mouths to feed, ain't nothing in this world for free...."
