oh, absolutely. there's songs to make you feel sad, to wake you up, to lull you asleep, to accentuate your mood, to lift it high, and drop it low

My emotions determine what kind of music I am listening to for the day. Sometimes it calms me when I’m upset and other times it gets me energized for the day.

I am a very emotional person. Sometimes I find myself feeling really sad after listening to a heartbreaking songs. Other times I may find myself laughing while crying, when I find a song that I can relate to

It depends on the music and the emotional state at the time of listening to music. I get influenced when I listen to sad music and if It's a happy one I feel great.

Absolutely! I used to stare out the car window when it was raining while listening to “Coming Clean” by HIlary Duff. I felt so angsty.

Definately! And the same song can have different meanings throughout my life like Happier by Bastille and Marshmello. At first it was an upbeat song that I could do a little dance too, but one night I was not feeling the greatest and actually took the time to listen to the words and I cried. Now I get emotional everytime I hear the song.

It certainly does. I pay close attention to the value of words and the message of the song connects to your state of mind, you got to use your braincells and think!
