My favorite song at the moment is Perry Como's rendition of "Killing Me Softly."

His rich and expressive voice paired with the beautiful acoustic guitar brings the song to life and evokes the image of a man who has suffered silently for a long time. In the song, the main character goes to listen to a young girl sing. She is "a stranger to his eyes", but somehow intimately knows his pain and seemingly sings about the tribulations and obstacles of his life. For a man so used to hiding his pain, this hits him hard and makes him feel extremely vulnerable. It is a sweet, and beautiful torture. I believe that it is actually cathartic for him, to be "killed softly" by her song. Even though the song may not be about his life at all, the words resonate and leave a deep impression on the man.

My favorite song is "I can only imagine" by Tamela Mann
I think the song just gives us Christians a different perspective of life. A life focusing on the ultimate goal- being answerable before the king.

My favorite song at the moment is Wings by Birdie. It is one of the soundtracks use in the movie, Maleficent. After hearing it in the radio, it inspires me on how to achieve my dreams in life. Like the birds, they definitely dream on how they can use their wings to fly in the sky. It shows all of us has its own dream and make it a goal in our life in striving to fulfill them.

My Way by Sinatra. But I always listen Daniela Kozlowsky's cover. His voice is wonderful and nostalgic. It complents this old song very well, I think

God's Plan (Derek Ryan)

I recently heard this song on the radio and on a wedding I attended.
Maybe, it was the message of the song that made me love it. To meet someone special, to love and to hold for the rest of your life is part of God's plan for you.

I have this hope by Tenth Avenue North
“Reading is escape, and the opposite of escape; it's a way to make contact with reality after a day of making things up, and it's a way of making contact with someone else's imagination after a day that's all too real.”
― Nora Ephron
