What is a music genre/band/song you secretly enjoy, but you are uncomfortable admitting it?

This is the place for readers of poetry. Discuss poetry and literary art. You can also discuss music here, including lyrics. Also, you can discuss poets themselves, in addition to poetry.

Disney Princess Songs. I’m too old enough to listen to this but, listening to the melody of the song invigorated my mood.

Honestly, this is the first time to publicize it. It’s Black Pink and Bangtan Boys. I just don’t know; their music is good and soothing. However, I just don’t like to admit it or maybe to let others know that I adore their pieces.

Kpop songs indeed. Kpop songs are generally for teens, and as an adult, I can’t admit that I liked them since it doesn't suit me. Since it’s always the trend, it swayed me, and be mesmerized by it.

Songs from child shows, like tangled, descendants, frozen. I wouldn't say I am not ashamed or embarrassed but if you hand me the aux in a car full of people I will not play any of those songs.

Gengetone, a certain sub-genre of rap music. I do enjoy those by Okonkwo, the Legend.

I love listening to Rhumba. I'm not afraid to tell people, I just don't like listening to it in certain places.

Hillsongs definitely. The reason I used to believe that He doesn't exist but I came to like songs about Him. Now, I am keeping it a secret because of my insecurity.

The music genre I am secretly enjoying but uncomfortable admitting is Rock music. Rock 'n' Roll tells a detailed story even in two and a half minutes. This music brings me up happy and tragic childhood memories. It lifts my spirit and connects my feelings of heartbreak. It allows me to remember being in love on my first time.

I secretly enjoy Lil Wayne's lyricism and wordplay but I can't admit that fact in public.

In my country there is a music genre called MANELE, I hate it. But, in the past, the genre had some good and catchy songs that I enjoy listening sometimes. When someone asks me about the most unusual genres that I listen to, I better drop dead than admit that I listen to those songs and genres.

I love listening to cassics like 80s' it just brings this nostalgic feels dip into me. And I live the music, take you back in time to remember how young you used to be. I live classics but I don't admit it.

One type of music we secretly enjoy, but might feel awkward admitting, is pop music from the 90s. We love jamming out to those catchy tunes in private, even though we usually host events with different genres. It's our guilty pleasure!
