Name that musician you think should quit music.

This is the place for readers of poetry. Discuss poetry and literary art. You can also discuss music here, including lyrics. Also, you can discuss poets themselves, in addition to poetry.

I'd rather Taylor Swift is not that popular amongst youngsters specifically. I think there are many musicians who are way better than her and deserve this kind of popularity. But I wouldn't say she should quit.

Also not just Swift. Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj... Etc

I would have to to say a lot of the modern "pop" music singers and "mumble" rappers should probably reevaluate their music. They try to bash each other so much or they sing about unrealistic ideas.

I don’t think any musician should quit… but I do think they should all sometimes do some unedited acoustic stuff as real people without all the lights, costumes and stage makeup… if you’re only making it big because of the add ons, you shouldn’t be making it big.

Just my 2 cents though!

I agree, i believe there's still room for improvement for them. They just got to put in the work.

Omg, we're literally thinking alike on this topic. I mean, quitting is like throwing all the work they've put in to start such career. Why not just re-strategise and put in extra work instead of quitting.

We really cannot discount the moving efforts of each striving artist to produce their songs. Generally speaking, we don’t have this right to do so. It could have been better if you said could have made a lot of improvement. Well, in my case, this is a local artist named X Batallion for me.

Some comments are harsh though compelling each famous artist to quit the industry. Well, we don’t have control over it. Even if it may sound creepy in our ears, those artists you hate still have supporters. No one should be entitled to quit because we demand to. Let them live!

Burnout. If you're a committed, serious musician, this reason for quitting is one that can sneak up on you. Similar to how financial debt creates conditions that make it impossible for many musicians to create in, doing too much at the wrong time can cause you to step away from music and never come back.
