I like just about everything except some of this newer stuff. Mostly depends on my mood what I listen to.

My kids loved heavy metal until they wised up and went to country.

Right now Im listening to some hillbilly rock. Its akin to rockabilly but about 10 years earlier.

I really enjoy pop, indie, country and alternative. I also really like listening to soft, sad songs.

I enjoy light jazz from the 30's, contemporary folk, vocals from most eras, singer-songwriters. I don't like much modern music; that is, things written in the past ten years. I sometimes feel that everything from this time is throw-away, from houses, to clothing, relationships and lastly, music.

I like all kinds of music as long as it has a positive message, with the exception of country--too many negative associations with it (long story). But my absolute favorite is the traditional music of Ireland and Scotland. I come from a strong Celtic bloodline, so I guess that's the reason why.

I listen to most anything.
Sometimes one type over another but never for long.
I might listen to country, rock, and pop all in a few hours.
Old, new, and in between.
I've never understood liking only one type or only from a certain time...I just don't get it.
